Aperture Trading Limited acquired K2 Conservatories Ltd, in April 2012. In March of 2020, went into administration. Manufacture of K2 conservatory roof parts ceased soon after, and stock of parts has since entirely depleted. Without the replacement parts, owners of a K2 conservatory roof have a great challenge to maintain the gutter system, which was always problematic at best.
When the problems are severe or numerous, the only option may be to replace the whole K2 conservatory roof guttering system. We have carried out gutter replacement work for our customers, and have produced a guide that describes how to replace K2 guttering with FloPlast Niagara. Niagara is an alternative gutter with the same “ogee” scalloped front like K2 conservatory roof gutter. It also offers the advantage of having a higher flowrate, whilst being more watertight.
The guide describes how FloPlast Niagara face-fit brackets can be fitted, and correctly aligned, under the K2 conservatory roof. Note that photos in the guide show fitting to K2’s low pitch eaves beam, but the principle is the same for fitting to the standard eaves beams. We also introduce the common components, to help you choose the parts you need.
